Coffee morning takes Appeal over £7,000 mark

On Friday 2nd November, Sharon Ellaway hosted a Coffee Morning in aid of the Rose Willcocks Appeal. Sharon (along with many of her lovely friends) went to a great deal of effort baking lots of wonderful cakes which were thoroughly enjoyed by all those who attended. There was also a 'guess the weight of the cake competition' and a raffle which included several fantastic prizes. The morning was enjoyed by all and generated £225 which took the total raised so far to over £7,000. Our sincere thanks go to Sharon and her faithful team for all their hard work and of course to everybody who attended who helped make the morning such a huge success.

Jamie MacDonald (aged 9) & Charlotte MacDonald (aged 7) both attend Hillmead Primary School and are working really hard raising funds for the Rose Willcocks Appeal. Jamie is growing tomatoes and Charlotte is making jewellery. Well done guys, keep up the excellent work!
Amazing response

We are bowled over by the amazing response we have had since the website was launched on the 12th September. Thank you to everybody who has sent us messages of support, they mean everything. A HUGE thank you also to those people who have offered to do a sponsored/fundraising event. Namely Kevin Shilling who is running for Rose in October, Gillian & Diane who are running for Rose in November and Cathie Marshall & Victoria Bell who are organising a coffee morning in October. We will post more details as we get them.
