Quiz Night and Disco

On Saturday 13 October 2007, Hillmead Primary school hosted a Family Quiz Night & Disco in aid of The Rose Willcocks Appeal. Over 120 adults and children answered a mix of questions aimed at all generations. As well as the quiz there was a raffle and auction with all of the prizes being generously donated, including a weekend away and a helicopter ride!
The night was finished off with a disco which was thoroughly enjoyed by all the kids (and the adults too!). The evening generated a staggering £1,218.86 which took the grand total raised so far to over £5,600.
Esme & Dave would like to thank everyone that attended and made the evening such a huge success.
They would also like to thank the team of people that made the event possible; namely Sharon, Lee, Eli, Jenny, Phillipa & Viv. Lee did a fantastic job comparing the quiz which he, Sharon and Hannah spent a huge amount of time putting together. Tom did a super job keeping score and Charlie laid on a great disco which everyone enjoyed, especially Rose who was the last person standing on the dance floor!
